You can return an online order within 7 days of receiving it. Who pays the return courier depends on why you’re returning it.
Changed your mind
- Let us know within 7 days of receiving your order, by email or WhatsApp, with your order number.
- The item must be unused, undamaged and not fitted, in its original packaging with all parts, tags and manuals.
- You pay the cost of sending it back. Our original delivery fee is not refunded.
- We check the item when it arrives. If it’s been used, fitted or damaged, we may refuse the return or deduct the cost of the damage from your refund.
- Some items can’t be returned for a change of mind: anything ordered in specially for you, items cut or modified for you (for example cables, hoses or steerer tubes), opened tubeless sealant, lubricants and other consumables, and used bikes.
Wrong, damaged or faulty item
- If we sent the wrong item, or it arrived damaged, tell us within 7 days with photos. We pay the courier both ways and send the right item, or refund you.
- If a new item is faulty, you’re covered for 6 months from delivery under the Consumer Protection Act. We’ll repair it, replace it or refund you, and we cover the courier cost. This doesn’t cover damage from wear and tear, crashes, misuse or incorrect fitting.
- Some brands give a longer manufacturer’s warranty. We’ll handle the claim with the supplier for you.

How to return an item
- Contact us on 079 868 9577 or sales1@amcgroup.co.za with your order number and the reason.
- We’ll confirm the return and give you our address and any instructions.
- Pack the item well. We’re not responsible for items damaged on the way back to us because of poor packing.
- You can also bring it to the shop in Fairview during opening hours.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and checked the item, we refund to the card you paid with, within 30 days at the latest. Usually it’s much quicker. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it.
